Armando Castellano, chair

Armando Castellano is a chamber musician, bilingual teaching artist, and arts advocate. As a professional French horn player, he is active internationally as a chamber musician, soloist, and orchestral performer. In in 2004, he founded the Quinteto Latino ensemble, which exclusively performs works by Latino and Latin American composers. He is a former board member of Chamber Music America (CMA) and CreateCA (formerly California Alliance for Arts Education) and has served as a panelist for numerous grants and awards. He received a Masters degree at the Manhattan School of Music where he studied with Erik Ralske and Jerome Ashby.
