Education and Mentorship Programs

K-8 Teaching Residencies

With over two decades of experience in culturally competent music education, Quinteto Latino offers engaging, standards-based programs that encourage children of color to express themselves authentically through music. Our passionate teaching artists provide interactive, age-appropriate instruction in various formats—from bilingual classroom residencies and student assemblies to community concerts—featuring our unique wind quintet and exploring diverse musical traditions, composition, and performance techniques.

Musician Mentorship

Quinteto Latino fosters musician growth through year-round leadership development, mentorship, and networking events. At the heart of our commitment to musician mentorship is our flagship program, an ensemble made up of Latino Artist Fellows This comprehensive, year-long initiative empowers aspiring Latina/o/e wind musicians, providing intensive mentorship, artistic development, and diverse performance opportunities that prepare fellows to excel as both musicians and cultural advocates in classical music.
