2023-2024 Concert Season Announcement

In our 23-24 season we bring music of Latina/o/e composers to all corners of the Bay Area and beyond: San Francisco, Oakland, Mountain View, Albany, Pacifica, Merced, Chico and more! We look forward to performing pieces created just for us by exciting composers like Gabriela Lena Frank, Victor Márquez-Barrios and the late Paul Desenne. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to work closely with them in the commissioning process and to add their pieces to the growing wind quintet repertoire by Latina/o/e composers. In addition to the QL commissions, we’ll perform favorites from our repertoire that demonstrate the variety and virtuosity of this music we’ve championed over the years and are eager to share with new audiences. A special thank you to our community partners for providing us the opportunity to perform in so many exciting venues.
